OMG!!!! I just have to share with you guys, AF came today!!! It's late but it came without the BCP and with MEt only.... I just hope that it will be consistant now with just met but I guess we will see.

hey tomsqtee, how much met are you on? is the extened release? and how long have you taken it to get your periods?
I stopped taking BCP in the beginning of May and I am on 850 mg of Met 2x a day and I do have to admit that sometimes I forget to take it twice a day but I have been taken Met for over 2 years. I have always been on BCP pills while on MEt (regular not extended release tablets) but I decided that I wanted to stop cause I felt like I gained weight on it and plus the pills are expensive. I am just so happy that AF came on it's own without the BCP's , now I just hope it's consistant otherwise I will have to be sad again.

well that give me hope they just dropped back my met to 500 2x's aday and i asked to be puton the extrened release. I've been on it sence Oct of last year the dr said my female homrones were fine the last time i had a blood draw from the endo dr. But my male hormones were slightly high. Just getting flustrated with no period constantly and the dr's being jerkies and tell me they can't confirm the diagnoses of PCOs though i show all the signs sorry i took over.
