I'm on cd38, and AF arrived just before!! I'm so excited because my natural cycles are normally 60+ days (if at all). Is it safe to assume I ovulated? I stopped charting because we stopped trying until I lose some weight and get healthier....we're not using any protection, just not actively trying at the moment. Does this mean my hormones are doing what they're supposed to be doing now? I've also noticed a reduction in pcos symptoms of late...my black hair is gone (nearly completely) and my hair has stopped thinning. Still have acne and oily skin and hair though. Could everything spontaneously be going back to normal? My cycles used to be 32-33 days, so 38 is pretty close. I have barely lost any weight at all yet, and still haven't been eating the best I could be. I haven't changed my metformin dose either.

A nurse at my clinic told me that sometimes just actual act of 'dieting' or changing your eating habits will cause a chemical change in your body that can trigger positive things with your cycle. It's not always about losing a lot of weight. Keep up the great work!!! It seems to me you are on your way!
