AF!!!! I haven't had AF in over 2 yrs and she decided to pay me a visit today. Keep in mind that I am in total shock. I am not on any meds for my PCOS. I take Vitamin B complex, and Vitamins A&D. I have lost a little bit of weight recently. I am just in total shock. YEAH!!!!!! LOL

They say reducing your weight by 10 % can start things going in the right direction.......weird.
Congrats in that way that NO OTHER WOMAN but a cyster can understand. I got mine after not having it for 2 years abd 3 months......that was in June. She is still here..... 9 months later.

I have to agree about losing 10% of your body weight. I have always had problems having AF and ovulating. Ever since I've lost about 30 pounds, my periods come on time every month and I'm starting to get the signs like sore breasts, early cramps, etc! My gyn told me about the 10%, and he was so proud of me when I saw him last week. I asked about Metformin and he told me I probably don't need it now and to keep going with losing weight

I was in the emergency room about two weeks ago for severe stomach pains and severe cramps and two days later my doctor calls me and tells me that i probably have pcos and that a cyst probably ruptured and i havn't heard anyone else say anything about the cysts rupturing so i was wondering if this was possible. He is going to put me on 850 mg of glucophage 3 times a day so that is the highest dose you are suppose to take and i was wondering if i should get a second opion or see if that will help me to concieve. I would really like to have children soon so this is very important to me.
