The caseworker sent us an email this morning saying that the new selection date has been finalized.
So on March 21st we will hear if we are going to be parents or not.
Let me tell you I am both excited and scared to death.
Scared because I am afraid the answer is going to be NO!
Two weeks girls, and my nerves are already tighter than a tightrope walkers.
She also said that since the kids are in therapy for all the abuse they have endured did we have a therapy place we knew we could use. The kids will have to continue therapy when they are placed. From what we are hearing it was very, very bad. My heart breaks, I just can't understand why someone would hurt their kids that bad.
Am I wrong or does that sound promising. I am trying to be real positive here.

To me, it does sound promising that the CW asked if you have a therapy place near you
It's so sad the way some parents treat their children. It made me happy when they made the law that parents could bring their kids to police stations, fire stations, & hospitals if they didn't want them in a certain time. It is sad that some parents don't do it though and abuse their children when there's so many loving families that would want them.
Good Luck!!!

Incredible!!!! Is this the same sibling group that you were hoping for or different children. Either way, BREATH and know that you are due for great things. My thoughts and prayers go with you through the next weeks.

These are the same. We have been in weekly contact with the caseworker. I think it was two weeks ago she told us to move on and look at other children because the process was taking so long. We told her we would wait.
I am trying to breath, but I tell you it is going to be a rough couple of weeks. Here we are in the 2WW again.
We are probably going to go ahead and get one of the extra bedrooms cleaned out this weekend. We have been using it as my DH's office but we just feel like it is time to get the rooms ready.
I don't know what I will do if they say NO!

It does sound promising but I know how you feel about not getting your hopes up.
I'll keep you in my thoughts--these kids so deserve a loving family like you are able to provide them.
HUGS!!
