I've just read my first post on this board. I've just burst into tears. I truly thought I was alone with this hair. I'm only young, i've tried nearly everything that my funds will allow. I'm just soo happy I'm not the only one out there. *cry cry*
no, you're certainly not alone! And whatever other problem you may have, chances are there are other cysters who know exactly what it's like.
Welcome aboard!!!

I don't care that I'm overweight, well i do. It's the hair - I don't feel like I can go out with anyone because they'll just look at me like i'm disgusting. I have to shave my beard everyday and i hate it
Me too. Until I started taking spiro and dex. I was having to shave the 5 oclock shadow before going out in the evening. I only shave in the mornings now though. Hopefully in the next year or so that will stop.

and chest shaver etc. You are so not alone hon. I remember my dating days when I had to shave and pack on the make-up to go anywhere. No matter what, I would not let anyone touch my face. I still use the make-up, but the spiro that I am on seems to be helping alot.
I am married now and I have found a wonderful man who loves me and understands me for who I am and what I go trough. I told him the before the first date about the hair and the weight etc. He gave it a chance and here we are stronger than ever. He looks past that and tells me I am the most beautiful women on the face of the earth. :o
Anyways, welcome to Soul Cysters. I look forward to seeing more posts from you and sharing your experiences. You have found a great place and we are happy to have you.
