Some women with PCOS have high LH which can give you a false positive. If you hadd bloodwork done when you were diagnosed, this should be ruled out. At least this is what I've been told.

I used the internet cheapies ones a few cycles back and I will never get them again.
I just felt like it was not picking anything up. Last month I used CVS brand and this cylce I am using First Response. I got a + with both CVS and First Response. So no more cheapies for me either.

CD18-couldn't do IUI
CD19-first IUI done at 10am (June 19 2008)

Beth ~ That's awesome that you could choose the sensativity...which did you choose??
Maritza ~ Yea for some reason those cheapies dont give me anything but a head ache..now the answer ones i think are super sensative i always have a faint second line, I almost gave up on them too until i seen an actual positive.
I swear getting a +++OPK is almost as exciting if not as exciting as getting a BFP...it's like woooo step one complete!!! YEAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Also, Beth is correct. Sometimes OPKs don't work for cysters b/c they always have high LH or there are some that never have a surge...those would be the cyster that usually need a trigger shot for ovulation.

I chose the most sensitive ones....as I did with the pregnancy test I got as well.
I agree with you about seeing a positive OPK - man you would swear I had gotten a BFP - I went to screaming and my DH and DD came running and said what's wrong I said OMG it's positive...DH went to laughing.
Now I want my BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at DH's Aunt's house when I got my HPT BFP. I yelled for DH and they all came running thinking something happened to me. Thought a shelf or something from the bathroom fell on me...lol

I'm right there with you! I got my 1st ever +++opk yesterday! It was day 13 of my cycle, so hopefully this will be it for us too!
