Question Omg Omg What does this mean?

So I just got my results back from my progesterone test. The nurse said that is was at 24.7.......what does this mean. She said that it was good. I am 9 dpo today....is this a postive sign that I ovulated and/or that I may get a bfp?

This is what else she told me;

*For 1st trimester pregnancies progesterone should be between 4.7 and 50.7
*For 2nd triemster pregnancies progesterone should be between 19.4 and 45.3

Can those levels drop drastically enough to trigger af?

Yep, you ovulated! Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean much as far as whether or not you're pregnant. I've had 20+ before too and not been pregnant.

Thanks for the input, that was what I wanted to know......I am dying here, the wait is killing me. I have had some severe af-like cramps and back cramps, and today my bbs are rather annoying. I have two tests and home, and I have to literally restrain myself from taking it too early....what would be a good time to poas?

Usually 14dpo is safe but hardly any of us here ever wait that long!

Some tests can detect pregnancy as early as 9 or 10dpo.

great progesterone level! You definitely O'd!! Unfortunately as others have said, a high progesterone level is not indicative of pregnancy. But I know my RE's office likes to see over 10 to consider it a good ovulation so you're well above that. I would wait until you're at least 12 or 13dpo to test depending on the typical length of your luteal phase. I know that I usually start spotting about 11 or 12 dpo. I didn't have any spotting this past round which led me to test at 13dpo. Good luck to you!

Thanks gals! I am just so excited that progesterone isn't a problem for me. My mother and grandmother both suffered several miscarraiges because of low progesterone levels. I am dying to test...but know that I have to wait. I have been having pretty bad back "aches" that shoot around to the front in my lower pelvic area. Shooting pains (sorry TMI) in my "girlie parts", and very heavy and sore bbs. I am really trying not to look too much into that....because we all know how your head can mess with you.

A&W, I have been cramping since Saturday (the day before I got my BFP). Very dull cramps in my lower abdomen. Ditto on the boobs (heavy and more sore than they've ever been w/ PMS). I have my fingers crossed for you!!
