Default One day makes a big difference!

I've been on 2,000mg/day met. for almost two months now. I started out with 500mg for the first week and then adding an additional 500mg each week until reaching 2,000mg. After the first couple of weeks the stomach troubles weren't too bad, but I had to keep a close eye on what I ate and how close the nearest restroom was.

Last week I had a weird day where for some reason I forgot to take my morning dose. I felt kind of off all day, but couldn't put my finger on why. Then, I had a bad headache that evening and didn't take my met because I was too ill to eat anything with it. The next day I went back to my usual dosage. Since then, my stomach symptoms have been worse than they were while I was still getting used to the met! Now I am super cautious about making sure I remember my metformin.
