I woke up in the midle of the night last night having an anxiety attack. I have felt the lingering effects of it all day and it has put me in a bad mood. Now I should be getting ready to go to bed, but I don't want to because I am having anxiety about having another anxiety attack when I sleep. I spent my day trying to convince myself that I wasn't going to have an anxiety attack in front of my kindergarten students.

Does anybody know of any free online anxiety support groups/chat room that I could look into?

Thank you for listening. Any help, advice, or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to hear about your anxiety. =( While I don't know of any resources that would help, I just thought you could use some encouragement. I know how frustrating it is when you wake up anxious and can't sleep, then are frustrated all day because of it. I hope you can put it aside for the kids, and know that you're not alone out there. *hugs*

Thank you for your encouragement. I was actually able to teach yesterday, and nobody (not students nor co-workers) were able to tell that I was having an inner-turmoil all day. Today was a much better day in terms of anxiety.
