Grief makes weight loss very difficult. I tried to focus instead on toning after I lost Mary Catherine, and it really helped. No matter what the scale said, I was looking a lot better. I worked out almost every day and did the best I could on my diet (again, hard while grieving). My physical improvement was about the only thing that I felt good about during that time, and the workouts got rid of some of the physical anger/aggression. That's what I recommend because it worked so well for me, but you might not feel up to it. Getting started is the hardest part. Having a buddy sometimes helps.
Good luck... I totally understand!!

A thought I had - after my pregnancy, I needed Met to kickstart things. I'd never needed it before. But, even though my insulin levels didn't change, my metabolism did.
I now weigh exactly what I did before I got pregnant, but I haven't been focusing lately on diet & exercise.

well after getting over my gallbladder problems after i lost my son, Cheetos and chocolate were a source of comfort for me. (i know...bad...bad...bad) It was Christmas time and it was a triple whammy!
During my pregnancy, I actually lost about 20 pounds. Everything was going back to normal as far was my pcos. I was freaking out over it. I was so concerned about the baby being okay. But he was fine. After I lost him, I lost another 10 pounds because of the gallbladder pain. Then I felt better, and snacked on a bag of cheetos for comfort. I am now at the weight i was before I got pregnant. I could just kick myself now!
