ONTARIO cysters - please fill out this provincial gov't survey
**ORIGINAL POST FROM IVF.CA**
Not sure if everyone has heard about this ... but it is IMPERATIVE we all fill in a survey. This could be the thing that make IVF affordable again.
"Ontario's Expert Panel on Infertility and Adoption Wants To Hear From You TORONTO, Nov. 14 /CNW/ - Ontario's Expert Panel on Infertility and Adoption posted a survey today to gather information from Ontarians who have an interest in, or experiences with, infertility services or the adoption system.
If you have sought or used help with infertility or adoption in Ontario, are a provider of these services, were adopted or donor conceived, or have opinions you want to offer, the expert panel is interested in hearing about your experience.
"I know that many people face challenges when creating families," said David Johnston, Chair of the expert panel. "The panel is looking at ways to make family-building easier, and that's why we want to hear from Ontarians about what currently works well and what needs to be improved."

WHAT CAN WE DO? Together, we can unite and make our voices heard. We believe infertility should be viewed like diabetes or high blood pressure, a medical condition covered by OHIP.
That's the conceivable dream that the OHIP for IVF Coalition will make a reality.
In July 2008, the Ontario government created the Expert Panel of the Infertility and Adoption Secretariat to review this issue and make recommendations in June 2009.
Once the Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/g...id=34696870853) reaches 200 members, the OHIP for IVF Coalition will request a meeting with the Expert Panel to demand that the government expand OHIP coverage to include IVF.
Please join and forward to give birth to this conceivable dream.
The Expert Panel of the Adoption and Infertility Secretariat has issued its survey. It is important that all Ontario infertility patients and adoptive families (or prospective adoptive families) take the time to do the survey. If you yourself do not suffer from fertility issues, but there is someone in your life who does, please invite them to fill out this survey as well. The government needs to know that there are hundreds of thousands of people in this province suffering - they need to make changes to their policy.
It is important that the panel understand the physical, emotional and financial burden of infertility before they issue their recommendations.
