I had this too-for months. My gyno originally put me on BC, but I didn't like the way it made me feel and I put on even more weight. On a lower dose BC (to combat the weight issue) I still didn't get my period and I would still get all the symptoms. What has really worked for me for the past four or five months has been acupuncture and herbs that my acupuncturist prescribes. I also try to follow the zone diet and have lost some weight with that. They say that losing even 5% of your weight can induce menstruation. Good luck.

Hi,

Cannot believe it somebody else who gets all the pains and no results. I have been like that for at least 10 months. It a big pain in the back side.
Have you started any treatment?
The reason I ask is that from most of the posts I have read nearly everyone seems to be getting it treated. I have been to the doctor and have been referred to a Gyn but he has decided to get more tests. After 8 months I still don't know what I should or should not be doing. Appart from Dieting that is.
Sorry have started to go off on a bit of a rant there

Tracey

Hi tracey, it`s really annoying is`nt it ?? i have been on alot of meds over the last 4 and a half years, and the only way i had a period was from provera (period inducing drug) and sometimes on metformin. at the moment i`m having a break from popping the pills!!

Hi Louise

I get this every month and is very frustrating!!

Been off met for 7 weeks now as it has stopped working so now trying alternative meds. As I have not had AF since 1st Jan the doc has given me provera (not taken it before).

Hope this works

Dawn
