Yes I really did get a lot of relief from the pain of endo and adhesions... I have another adhesion now... it doesn't hurt so much as it is more annoying and I'm just aware of it... I had emergency gallbladder removal this time last year and it has taken me until now to shake the after effects of all of that so I'm hesitant to have another surgery for my current adhesion. If you have bad pain from endo then I do recommend surgery after you have exhausted all your other options. I was young at the time and angry at my body, so I didn't care about having such an intrusive thing happen to my body. I'm not sure what alternatives there are to endo right now, but surgery really should be a last action if possible. It's more than just the drugs that affect you, the incisions can interrupt your body's energy paths (meridians in Chinese Medicine) and have other repercussions that you would never expect. Here is a link about some alternatives... http://www.endo-resolved.com/alternative.html

I'm wondering if I have missed the mark and you aren't inquiring about endo... please let me know if that is the case

I had surgery for endo and thought it went very well. I took several days to feel back to myself, but I had TREMENDOUS relief from the endometriosis.
