ordered Met & haven't rec'd anything??

I really dont know whats going on?? please read and ensure me that everything is going to be ok.
I ordered glucophage off of Medsmex.com on the 11 of April and still haven't heard anything.....I'm worried that they wont send it!
I called my credit card company last week to see if there was a purchase taken off in the last couple days or weeks and they said NO....???? why haven't they even taken it off my VISA yet??
I really hope that I receive my glucophage!
I am in Canada....I wonder if that is the problem??
Plus I sent them an email on the 15th inquiring on the status of my order and I still haven't rec'd a reply!
Instead I rec'd a reply from Horizon Drugs saying...."Please be advised that various international holidays last
week, this week, and next week the fact that April 15th was
TAX RETURN time in the USA made APRIL the busiest month of
the year for the post office. This will cause delays in
fulfillment and delivery beyond our control.

Please expect delivery time to be about 3 weeks because of
this. Thank you for your understanding."

Who the heck is Horizon Drugs...and they didn't even say the product that I ordered in the email???
I'm worried!!!

I remember back when you posted and said that you had just ordered it and I remember all of the advice you received, advising you against doing this. However, I said I think it's OK and understand that not all of us are fortunate enough to have good doctors in our area, who will take the time to listen and at least try different therapies.

As far as to why you haven't gotten your meds, I'm pretty much clueless...but I hope you get it soon!!! Did they send you a confimation e-mail, or anything? Is there any kind of phone number you could call, rather than an e-mail address???

I have never used this site myself, but it soundsand looks decent. I'm no expert, but I've done more than my fair share of online shopping and the site seems legitimate to me. The only thing that would make me a bit more hesitant to buy from them is that they are outside of the US. But still, it seems pretty legitimate.

Even though taxes were two weeks ago, maybe that is the delay, as far as receiving them in the mail. And (utilizing my bank knowledge, since I am a teller!!!) when purchases are made with any type of credit card, there is usually a 2-5 business day wait (called a 'hold'), until the payment hits your account (at least with our bank and all the cards I've ever seen...), so that might be why it's taking awhile with your CC. PLUS, they're in Mexico, so that would make the financial aspect go even slower, I'd think.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you more, but I'm thinking bout ya, hoping that you get your meds soon!!!

Personally i dont think ordering medications you have never taken before off the net is a risky thing anyway.. but each to their own.
I presume it may take longer because the drugs are being shipped from Mexico. It also says on the site that they use a USA company to deal with the email correspondance, and that is probably Horizon drugs.
It also says medicines will be shipped in 10 - 14 business days and seeing as you ordered it on the 11th it is not that overdue.

Maybe it is a sign......but I am still willing to take a chance!
I appreciate everyone's input on my decision's and issue's and I feel that everyone has their own opinions on anything in life!

I hope and pray that everything is ok and that I will receive my met soon!

I go see my new Geno in about 2 months and I will let him/her know exactly what I am taking and let them do all the tests to see if everything is ok.
My current Geno just sent all my files back to my family Dr. b/c he wouldn't prescribe Met for me and felt he couldn't help me in any other way....(what an asshole). That really upset me b/c his secretary just left a message on my work voice mail and said that he is transferrring my files over b/c I want Met and he is not prescribing it for me!! Thats IGNORANCE!
Anyways, sometimes you gotta do things on your own! Sometimes you know more then your own doctor does....which is very scary!
