Default orgasm produces spotting - TMI

Okay, this is probably TMI, but I'm not sure what's going on. I've been feeling kind of blue today, so I decided I would *satisfy* myself. I'm 4DPO and still in my fertile phase, and when I'm in that phase, orgasms are usually intense to the point of pain - I really, really feel my uterus contracting and it's not a very pleasant sensation.

Now, not realizing I was about to ovulate because I'd been sick and I thought my temps were a result of that, DH and I BD'd 3 times earlier this week, so I'm in a 2ww.

But, back to tonight. I'm just feeling down, so I *satisfied* myself, and I had really had uterine cramps with orgasm - much worse than usual. It almost made me feel sick to my stomach. Now, I've got a little bit of spotting. Not a lot, just like a little pre-AF spotting (which I normally get), but I wouldn't get that for another 7 or 8 days at least.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Does anyone know anything about this? Should I call my dr?

I'm no doctor, but I think this is a psychology problem more than anything else, don't be embarrassed to see your doctor, he or she will be able to ease your mind that you're more than likely expecting pain because something is wrong in that region anyway (I gather you are PCOS dx)

Try to see it along the lines of 'you musn't have sex - you'll hurt the baby' as we all know it's poppycock, but it still plays on your mind - hope you get this sorted

Do you normally spot during ovulation? Some women do, and if you normally do, then perhaps the uterine contractions brought that on. Was it bright red blood? If it's brown then it's old blood. This may be too personal of a question, but did you insert anything inside yourself? If so, perhaps you have a tiny tear that caused the bleeding. If this is abnormal for you and you are worried about it, you should definitely see your doctor.

Good luck~

No, no insertion. And I never get ovulatory spotting. It was just a little bit of brown. Since I am in a 2WW, I'm wondering if it was implantation spotting/cramping.

I have spotting after sex if it is close to the time of my period. Sometimes they are pretty descent cramps that come with them....so you are not alone! I personally do not think it is psychological. Thats just my opinion! It could be implantation bleeding, or it could be pms. We will hope for implantation!
