Has anyone used orthotrycyclen lo for acne? Did it help and how long did it take before you noticed an improvement?

I was only on them for 6 months, but i did notice a decrease in breakouts. I eventually had to stop because I developed a blood clot in my leg.

What i did notice a significant improvement was when I started taking Metformin. The only time I have a breakout (maybe one or two pimples) is right at that time of the month. But using metformin, really cleared up my skin.
