Does anyone have a Memory Foam mattress? One of the ones you get from Wal-Mart? I've been thinking about getting one, but wanted to see if I could find someone else that had one and see if they are any good.

I have a Memory Foam, but not from Walmart and love mine. My Best Friend has one from Walmart and she seems to like it. They actually put it on top of their original matteress. It's high up, but comfy!

Yes, I bought one not too long ago. The mattress toppers are much cheaper than the Tempurpedic full mattress memory foam (at least $900 for queen!). Some mattress toppers are cheaper, I was pricing them at Linens N Things, the most expensive was $300 something for a queen size, and $125 for the cheapest, but that was thinner.
So definitely check prices at different stores, and thickness. I think the thicker is better. Personally, I would go more by thickness than name brand. And make sure it comes with a cover, or buy one of those allergen zip covers. Check the return policy of the store you buy it from, just in case it doesn't work for you.
You know what, my hubby has a really bad back. He has lost some weight, and that may have something to do with it, but he said he sleeps SO much better with the memory foam mattress topper, and I sleep better too, because I like a cushy bed and our mattress is hard. I think his back does feel better from the memory foam topper.
Target sells them too, if you don't have one in your area you can check target.com

This is very important working in the furniture bussiness we were not supposed to let customers return any kind of beds. If it was returned it had to be trashed or donated it was not allowed to be resold per the health dept. The customer genrally didint care about this but it was def. harder for them to return because the merchant "lost out". Walmart tends to be very lienunit (SP) on their returns so maybe this isn't even an issue. BUT it's def. worth checking into for $175.00. GL with your new bed regardless of which one you choose.

I bought a 2 inch memory foam topper for my queen at Overstock.com for about $75. One of the best purchases I've ever made! Our mattress was already a pillow-top, and now with the foam is it THE most comfortable bed in the world! DF and I sleep so much better now, and spend much more time in bed. (Watching movies.)
I also got some 700 thread count sheets for $70 at overstock, so it's even MORE comfortable now. I LOVE that site!

I have to interject...if you're willing and able to spend the $$, get a sleep number bed. Holy crap, those things are heaven in a bedroom! DH and I went through the whole sales shpiel at the mall, and we're sold. They genuinely are wonderful! *sigh* wish we had one now...
