Default OTC/Drugstore Prodcuts

New here - this forum was recommended to me by a friend who used to be active here.

I've never been officially diagnosed with PCOS - but did you ever just "know" something? :-)

I have been diagnosed as diabetic - and am currently on Spiro, Met, and Glucotrol

Currently, I do not have benefits - and it's a struggle just getting these meds - so right now, no more Dr. visits until the benefits start.

Until them, I'm trying to find some relief from my hair loss.

EVERYtime I take a shower, there are CLUMPS of hair in the drain, in my hands if I run my hands through it, on the brush. I am SOOO extra gentle wiht my hair now - I won't even let the fiance run his hands through it.

I am looking for some products, OTC/Drugstore stuff (regular shampoos/conditioners and such) that are UNDER $10 that might be helpful.

Either thickening what I already have, helpign with the loss, etc.

Something other than the typical Rogaine stuff.

Mainly I'm just curious if any of the 'normal' shampoos/conditioners have served anyone else well? (Pantene, Dove, Tresemme, etc.)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Dee

I don't have any suggestions for the shampoo, but check out Walmart for the RX's. I think they have the ones you listed for $4.

Thanxs much!

I'm betting, though, the $4 RX's are with insurance?
