Now that summer is back, do we want to start the meet-ups again??

Please reply here if you are interested, adn what day and time is best for you, and from there, we will try to figure out a place and time to meet.

Anyway, a meeting in Ottawa sounds good. I am also shy, especially when it comes to discussing personal issues and PCOS is pretty personal as you all know...

I have been away for a bit, I appologise.

Where would you prefer to meet, in a restaurant/cafe?? or more in a park outside, where we could maybe talk a light stroll while talking??

I will monitor this thread regularly.

I was thinking the Vincent Massey Park, at like 2 pm, that is what we did last year.

We could schedule it for Saturday July 22nd, as tomorrow most likely too short notice for most.

I am intrigued by the notion of a meet-up. I've just been diagnosed and am, to put it mildly, irked it took three years to get a diagnosis.
Would greatly appreciate insight from those who have dealt with this for longer .... and am in Ottawa so can make Vincent Massey.

I can't wait to meet all of you... I haven't heard from the others yet.. but let's actually make a meeting point, so it's easier to find each other since the park is a large area.

At the end of the parking lot, there is like a small cantine with picnic tables, let's meet there.

I'd still like to meet up, but weekends are bad for me (it's the only time I see my Dh - he's away during the week)...maybe we could set up a GTG for a weekday evening for coffee or something?

I'm ok with the market...not my favorite place, but doable! What part of the city does everyone live in? I'm in the south end of town....

I am towards the Riverside Hospital area, so south end is doable for me if we remain close to the Bus routes.
