Well, I finally did it. I waxed my arms....OUCH!!!!!! I was so tired of seeing those hairy things. I thought that enough was enough! I started Friday night, found that there was just too much hair there to start out with. Lots of wax tangles, man does that hurt! DH came in and said that I should use his trimmers and take them down a little and then it might not be so bad. I thought, what does he know. HE WAS RIGHT!!!! I did that and then let my skin rest and last night I finished waxing. It wasn't the most pleasant thing I have done, and I still need to do some more. I have one spot where I took a little skin off. Let me tell you though, it is worth it. Next I will try the chin and sideburns. Now if I could just get some weight off, and get my BCP's straightened out, and get on some of the right meds I would be fine. I can deal with the weight a lot more than the hair. Sorry this is so long, I was just so excited to see the skin on my arms!!!!!
Oh yeah, I used the GIGI microwave stuff from Sally's, bought the kit.

That's great! I feel like you do... the hair is the worst symptom for me right now. I can deal with everything else but I wish this da** hair would just go away!!!

The hair is def. the worst visible sign of PCOS. I wax my lip and chin whenever I am depressed about the hair. Usually I just leave it. I use the Sally Hansen Wax Strip Kit. You just heat the strips by rubbing them in your hands. They work well for me.
