DH came home from work yesterday with the news that he may be deployed to Iraq sometime within the next year- possibly as soon as next month!

He's talking to his Capt. next week and explaining about the adoption- then we're just crossing our fingers that nothing happens until everything is final. I've contacted our agency about what would happen if he were deployed in the middle of things. She's checking on it and said she'd get back to me on Mon or Tues.

Now we're just praying that he won't be deployed, and that if he does, he won't be deployed until everything is final!! Any extra prayers would be appreciated! Thanks!

is there a possibility of him going TAD during the adoption process??? My husband is Navy too. I'd have him inquire about this to his command. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your family.
