And we had our final meeting w/ the adoption worker on Friday. In passing, she mentioned an infant boy who was available for adoption. Our study has been forwarded to the boy's social worker and we are now one of the four families in consideration for the adoption of a two-month-old baby boy. My head is spinning.....

We had planned on still fostering, but....if we end up being the family picked for this boy, there are many issues that would make us unable to foster for the first few years.
