*SIGH* BIG *SIGH*
Another thing done done done....Our homestudy was picked up last nite by me and shipped this morning to the Agency and will be there tomorrow...Hopefully to be off to the Ministry by the end of the week and we can officially start our 10 week count down ! (It takes 8-10 weeks for approval at the Ministry)
Then July 3 I turn 30 and we will have DTC !!!! :p This smilie reminds me of someone who is very happy and thats me !
Now we have to work on our paperwork to actually send to China ...
Paperwork paperwork paperwork...at least it keeps my busy ! LOL
Oh ya...I guess my 3 year old does that too

Yay!!! Maybe we'll be DTC around the same time!! Which I'm completely hoping to be DTC this summer and trying my hardest!

Do you really have to be 30 to adopt from China? I am 25 and DH is 31 and we have been ttc for almost 2 years. I haven't done much research on adoption, but I had no idea there were age limits. I have a masters degree and a good paying job, but I have several years before I am 30. | |

You both have to be 30 when your paperwork goes to China. You can start the paperwork @ 29 1/2 though.
Go to www.adoption.com and you can check out every country out there and whether they're open or what their requirements are.

YAHOO for you Amy!! That's such a relief, isn't it?!! I'm sitting here waiting on our fingerprinting approval--it's been 3 weeks since we had it done and probably another 2 till we get approved.  After that the agency gets everything translated and such and sends it off to China. So then it'll be sometime in May I'm guessing when we'll be DTC! I HOPE!

Yay ! I am so glad to have process buddies especially during the wait when we will all be just waitin for referral...our processes are so different (US and Canada)
We can make 100 good wishes quilts and knit afghans and bite our nails !
I cant wait !
At this point I expect referral to be in Feb 2006
