 We took some time off and regrouped. Amazingly it didn't take us long this time. We just decided to get back up on the horse and ride.
This morning I got a call from a caseworker in Tennessee about a girl and we gave our consent for her to get our homestudy, etc from the caseworker we worked with before.
Then this afternoon we got a call from a adoption specialist in Arkansas who asked if we were still interested in a sibling group we had inquired about in December. At that time a family member had stepped up and decided to take them. Three boys, ages 10, 11 and 12 years. We were disappointed then and had pretty much gave up on them. From what she told my DH it didn't work with the family member and now they want to move the boys out of state. The placement attorney for the boys called her asking if they had anyone interested who was out of state. We are excited but are trying to keep our hopes on an even keel. But man oh man it is hard.
We wanted these boys because the middle boy said in his bio that he wanted a Christain family who would let him go to church. Our hearts melted at that.
