Question ovarian cancer

i was wondering if women with pcos have a greater chance of getting ovarian cancer than those who don't have pcos? are pcos and ovarian cancer linked in any way?

no my doctor didn't say anything about ovarian cancer... but i'm just scared of cancer becuase a lot of family members and people in my community have been getting various kinds of cancer (colon, leukemia and skin cancer mostly...) so i'm just getting so paranoid about cancer... and since i have this problem already (pcos) it's easy to believe that oc might be an issue...

Problems and risks associated with PCOS

Women with PCOS have an increased risk of developing a number of other health conditions. This does not mean that by having PCOS you are destined to develop any of these problems, just that you have a higher risk than the general population.
  1. Type II (adult-onset) diabetes
  1. High cholesterol and triglyceride levels
  1. Cardiovascular disease
  1. Endometrial cancer (cancer of the uterine lining)
