Default Ovarian cysts?

I usually have pretty short periods - maybe 5 days total w/ light bleeding and minimal cramping (usually the day prior to starting). I can usually feel myself ovulating on a monthly basis - at least that's what I think is happening. It's always in my left ovary, never do I feel anything with my right. This pain usually lasts a day or two and then goes away until I start my period (typically two weeks later). However, a few months ago I had my typical ovulation feeling mid-way through my cycle and then again the entire week prior to starting my period. It's happening again this month. I should be starting sometime this weekend/early next week and I feel like I'm ovulating right now. Yes, I know that's not possible, but the pain/uncomfortable feeling is very similar. It's like a dull ache or pressure in m ovary region and it kind of radiates down my leg and partially up my back.

This has only happened twice, to my knowledge. I actually thougth I may be PG the first time it happened b/c I'd never experienced it before. So, could this be an indication of cysts? Is that what they feel like? I always thought that ovarian cysts were immensly painful and presented themselves in different ways. This isn't necessarily a pain, just more of a pressure feeling or an ache.

With my cysts, I get all sorts of different feelings! Sometimes it's pressure, sometimes it's pain, sometimes I just feel "something". I happened to have a dr appt one time and he said that particular pain was actually a tender spot in my uterus. It could be a lot of different things. If you're concerned, I would bring it up with your dr.
