Unhappy ovarian hemorragic cysts

Hi everyone,
I am hoping that someone will have experienced what I have gone through, and continue to go through...

I have had continued to have bursting and hemorragic cysts on my ovaries. I have been on micronor, depo, microgestin, and now am trying the NuvaRing. I had a tumor removed from my left ovary on July 2nd, and didn't have any other cysts at the time. 6 weeks later I had a 2.3 cm cyst on my left ovary and the doctor just blew it off like I was trying to ovulate even though I hadn't missed a pill. (He is a new doctor after the last one didn't remove the tumor when I had a cyst removed.)

My primary read my medical notes from my old doc and asked if I was still considering Lupron (offered to me due to the horrible pain I was in all the time and a prior history of endo) and I DEFINATELY don't want to do that. I have only heard bad things.

Anyway, 9 days after my gyn saw the cyst on my ovary I started getting the old burning feeling, like it was bursting. I have done this so many times before that I knew what it was. I was in the er the next day, pain worse, they gave me a shot and sent me home, couple hours later pain worse again. Called the gyn again and he said he didn't know what to do, I would just have to wait it out and that 10 days before every thing was fine except for the "little cyst", and implied something else must be the problem. Now, that cyst may be little, but the darn thing still hurts, and I have done this more times than I can count, and they took urine and no blood which means no kidney stones.

I am 26, and have 2 LC, and have had 8 miscarriages. I am just tired. Since 1997, during 3 other surgerys, no endo has been seen (just the first time). And since I have PCOS, but removing the ovaries doesn't help that, no body really can give me an answer.

So, I am going to try the Nuvaring 4 weeks in a row and not have a cycle, and I see the gyn in a month again and hope there are no more cysts. I am tired of people doubting what I feel, and have felt so many times, I know what is true...

Has anybody else had this problem, or had any luck with a "treatment"? By the way I just doubled my metformin level to 1500 per day, maybe that will make a difference?

Cari
