Have any of you been checked for endometriosis? The only way it can be seen is with a laporoscopy. I had the pains that you are all describing. My doctor suspected endo and he did a lap. My pelvic cavity was full of it. It was on my ovaries, tubes, uterus, and bowel. I had to have it cleaned out every 1-1.5 yrs. Hope you all find your answers.

I have pains like around my waist/side and it feels like pinching. I though it was ovary pain. The past 2 times it was a kidney infection.I ended my period 8-24. I had the pinching pain again. Went to the doc cause this time the pain stretched above my knee, to my back and side. I couldnt walk staraight. Again he checked my urine and I had some bacteria so it was a damn infection again. It really is confusing and its a pain trying to figure it out. Ovaries, kidneys, bladder, blah blah blah. All I know is it hurts!

I have always had excrusciating pain in my left & rt ovaries to a point where I feel like I could faint. WHen I had my last exam They said I am ok, But that with PCOS comes the pain in the ovaries. I was'nt happy with the answer! I take motrin for the pain it seems to help alot. I hope you feel better soon & find out whats causeing it.

Default Hi All

Hi , I get bad ovarian pain both my ovaries are covered in cysts. My right ovary is much worse though. The docs just tell me to take pain killers and rest !!! Sometimes a hot water bottle held against the area helps soothe it ( with the pain killers ). Keep your chin up gals

I do not know if this will help any but.. I have been having sharp stabbing pains in my left ovary for the past month and a half. I am currently on gluc.
Well I went to the doctor Friday because it kept getting worse. He did an ultra sound and he said that everything looks fine. He said I must finally be ovulating. He said some woman feel nothing when they ovulate and some woman kill over in pain. I'm relieved and I hope you find answers soon..
also I was told if the pain gets to bad to take some advil and that should help reduce the inflamation.

I also sometimes get a milder tugging or stabbing pain, only on the right side. That was the ovary that was biopsied when i was a kid, and was diagnosed. Sometimes I wonder if I have adhesions from the surgery on that side that cause the pains. For me they have never been more than fleeting or mildly uncomfortable. I feel for you gals that hurt so much worse.

When I'm not on the pill, and I go long enough to have what are for me, regular cycles, yes, I can feel the same/similar pain when I am likely to be ovulating.
