hey guys!
so i was diag. bout a yr ago.. the facial n body hair is wat got me to go to a gyn.. i had regular cycles only they were longer 34-35 days.. anyway ive been on metformin 1500mg/day and diane-35 ever since.. the doctor is marking my progress by ultrasounds.. every 3 months i come off the bcp(staying on met) and i get the cysts checked out.. in the past there was very little reduction in the no. of cysts.. and volume was uptil 12ml..
this time though the volume came down to 6ml and cyst size upto 1-2mm
then my doc wanted to see if i was ovulating proper or not.. so i got another ultrasound on the 11 day of my cycle.. and the weirdest thing had happend.. my ovaries had grown massively about 22ml..there were cysts the largest of size 8mm in the right ovary and 10mm in the left.. and multiple other smaller cysts.. so what do u guys think?? do u think i should forget all hopes of ovulating? or is there still a chance that one of the cysts is a growing follicle and the increase in size during the cycle is normal and that i might ovulate even if its a bit later than the ideal 14th day????
