Hello everyone,

I have been having problems with hair falling out and such, so I decided to take a birth control with higher estrogen levels since PCOS obviously leaves me with lower estrogen levels than usual. I figured that taking a BCP with more estrogen, which helps hair growth and thickness, would solve this problem. But after I have started taking it I have heard bad things about Balziva in particular which is the generic form of ovcon 35. Does anyone know more about this and how it pertains to women with PCOS?

I've been taking it for years and never had any problems. I started with Ovcon then switched to Balziva when it became available. It works well to control hair growth when paired with spironolactone.
