Over a year on Met. and. . .

I'm starting to look like sasquatch. I'm getting hairy wrists (long dark hairs). Has anyone found Met. stopped helping with the hair problem, but Spiro worked? I'm going to see my doc next month and I wanted to know how well it works if Met. has stopped working.
