 Overwhelmed with a few questions
I have PCOS and was on Metformin along with other meds to get me pregnant. Since I had my twins I have not been on Metformin. I have been gaining weight...like 25 pounds in the matter of weeks. I'd like to get back on it. I see my gyno but I don't know if she knows much about PCOS or about metformin. I really don't want to go back to the dr that was infertility meds but don't think there is anyone else in the area to see.
Does anyone know of a dr to see in the cleveland/Akron area in Ohio?
Also If I get put back on metformin what labs will I need. I will go to my appt without eating in case she wants blood work done. What on going care will I need while on this med.?
Makes me nervous because if I don't have diebetes will it mess my body up if it is not needed for that diagnosis? |
