Default Ovex

So I found a herbalist that knows alot about pcos. she is a pcos survivor of 5 yrs. which is really great and I am so excited about. she suggested a detox and then ovex. I have never heard of it and just wanting some feedback for my research on it. Have any of u gals tried it and if so does it work of you?

I'm not familiar with it. What brand is it, and what is in it? I agree with the cleanse first, though. It is always a good idea to do a cleanse before you start any program. I'd really like to know more about it!

I've been seeing an integrative health practictioner for about 3 months now. I chose this direction after seeing a specialist for 4 years with no results. I have been on Ovex for about 2 of the 3 months, along with a whole lotta other stuff. Magnesium, zinc, iodemere, pituitrophin, betafood, zyphan and calsol - every day. (all of them are from the same company - standard process)

I have noticed some improvement, nothing major yet, but there has been some. I am also on a restricted diet - avoiding ALL carbs, yeast & dairy products, most fruits, caffeine, alcohol, everything.... It's the Candida Diet.

I don't know what of my progress can be attributed to the ovex, so I don't know if this helps much, but my doctor has also said that he can get rid of my PCOS. He's done it before, it's a long process that will require a lot of discipline on my end, but he can do it.

Best of Luck to you!

sms79 - what kind of difference have you noticed with ovex? I has wanting to start ttc#2 and this was the route that the herbalist had recommended. do you think that the ovex with the combination of the other supplements has helped regulate your cycles? i am very interested to hear

OH, its ovarian substance. And the fact that it is water soluable is very good, because your body will get rid of whatever it doesn't need. My only question is about the quality of the product - how much they test for purity, etc. Other than that, it seems that it would be a good product.

Well, I've only been on it for about three months. And it's one of MANY that I am taking, so it's hard to say which improvements are directly related to the Ovex, but my progress so far includes:
I am able to sleep soundly through the night - I am actually have vivid dreams! Before, I had been diagnosed with sleep apnea and snored very loudly. So far, snoring has decreased, so I've "heard."
I had a regular period this month for the first time since going off the pill 3 months ago
My skin is clearing up
My appetite has changed in that I don't crave sweets and carbs as much or as often as I used to. I used to HAVE to HAVE it - no willpower what soever. Now there are times when it does not sound appetizing at all, and I only crave once in a while.

Keep in mind, this has only after 3 months. The doctor I go to did tell me initially that this process would take at least a year.

As for testing - Standard Process has a website you can check out. I know if you google it it comes up near the top.

It sounds like the combination of supplements you are on are working great for you!! Good luck in the future. It sounds like the ovex is a good product and I just started my detox so in about 21 days I will start taking the ovex. Let me know if it continues to be helpful for you and I will do the same!
