Hi Ladies -

Have a few questions. I took my injection last night. How long will it take for me to O? Also, when you took the shot, did you have LOT of discomfort in your ovaries? How long did it last? Did you take anything to relieve it?

Hello! When I took my ovidrel shot my RE told me it can take 24 to 36 hours for you to ovulate. I had some pressure, almost like gas pains. I didn't take anything, just drank some warm Red Raspberry Leaf Tea. My pain only lasted that day, the next day I was tender but ok.

Thanks Amy, this is very similiar to what I had. It started about 12 hours after the shot, and continued for about 24 hours after that. I have to do bloodwork on Friday to check and see if I ovulated, then by Aug 5, I should be able to do a HPT.
