Has anyone tried Ovral or Cryselle? I was on Yaz but earlier this week, I had to go the ER because I was bleeding uncontrollably and the ER doc said this would be better for PCOS and stop the bleeding.

I was on Cryselle...it was decent except that every time it came time to have my period I was ridiculously emotional...not just your normal PMS either...I cried because my roommate went to play volleyball...she was going to be back in an hour and even invited me to go with. It was weird, I didn't really like it.
Otherwise it does what it is supposed to and makes for a funny story, I guess

I just came off it before I got the mirena. I came off it for a couple of reasons. One is because it took the little drive I had left and drove off with it. Not very pleasant. Two is because my doc said he didn't feel comfy with keeping me on it long term because of the estrogen levels in it. But it did help with the whole bi monthly cycles.

I am on Cryselle now. I like it just fine, although I have noticed I get overly emotional period week. hehe.

I've never been on another pill though.
