I started Metformin 500mg on 3/17/06 and because I had no real side effects I was able to ramp it up to 1500mg within about a week or so. About four weeks in to it I ovulated and today I received AF on day 28!! I'm so happy that this seems to be working! Now, if I could just get my part together (diet & exercise) than I could possible drop some of this weight and get pregnant. Just thought I would pass along some positive news. Thanks for listening.
Congratulations! I'm very happy for you. I know how great the feeling is to finally get things they way they should be. Best wishes on the diet and exercise. I have been lacking in motivation lately myself. Hopefully now that the better weather is here, I can kick myself into gear.

Congrats! Met performed miracles for me! I was able to conceive my babies (quickly after starting it too), and it kepts my cycles pretty regular. I hope it does everything you want it to!
