OMG Tamii!!! Congratulations, I am sooo happy for you. Wow, what a nice surprise after so long of not reading this thread....To Joobilee and others, I'm praying you get your bps soon. Tamii, I'm wishing you a happy and health 9 months, keep us posted.
Update:
Well so much has happened since the last time I posted on here both good and bad. We found out on Sept 9 we are having a baby boy during the 18 week anatomy ultrasound, he is doing very well and growing right on target. I was officially diagonsed with gestational diabetes quite early around 13 weeks and have been on insulin ever since, it's been tough. They say I may even have had pre-existing type 2 diabetes since I was diagnosed to early but I am hoping and praying that after the baby comes and I go on Metformin, I may be able to reverse it. I've also had to do a 24 hr urine test because they found protein and ketones in my urine but the tests came back fine and they say it may be due to the gestational diabetes diet. Luckily I have gained only 5 pounds so far this pregnancy due to the diet. I also have to take my blood pressure at home because I have white coat syndrome and my bp sky rockets whenever I'm at the doctors. All in all, I feel great, no more nausea, getting stronger and I have to say it is all worth it when I feel my baby kick and turn which he's been doing a lot of lately lol. I pray all continues to progress well, I'll keep you all posted.
I hope your blood pressure and blood sugar stay under control.
Im 9wks today, YaY! We saw the baby's heartbeat last week and it was 183. I was already thinking it might be a girl, but that just made me think it even more, but who knows. I have my 1st ob appt this morning.

I was diagnosed 2 year ago - prescribed metformin. Wouldn't take it. Hardly ever see AF. I have had PCOS since age 18 - never fallen preg. TTC now. Just finished 3 rounds of clomid and decided to skip it for a while and start managing PCOS with natural remedies. My strategy at the moment involves...
DCI - start tomorrow - 1200mg
Magnesium - start tomorrow
CO - enzyme - Q10
ALpha - Lipoic - Acid - ALA
Vit E
Prenatals
Vit C
Zinc
lowish carb/anti inflammatory diet
no sugar
Apple cider vinegar
Green tea
huffy puffy excercise once a day - 30 mins
So I will keep you posted. I have not ovulated in years except for 3 clomid induced cycles - however - I see in my charts insufficient progesterone after ovulation and doubt I can sustain a preg in current state - so hopefully adressing PCOS will help this - start an ovulatory cycle and get my going. Please provide updates ladies with your trails and tribulations.
Hi ladies, I hope everyone is doing great. Tamii, how is the pregnancy so far? Joobilee, any updates?
Update
31 weeks and 1 day today. So far, I have had no problems managing my sugar and bp, infact my readings are getting better the more I progress....strange? My OB thinks it's because I am doing so well with weight gain (5 pounds so far) We had another ultrasound today because they are watching Nathen's growth closely due to the GD and he is 3lbs 8oz at 31 weeks which is perfect. I'm getting more and more tired by the day, sleeping is just impossible. I will probably stop work at the end of this month. I will be induced at 39 weeks per routine, so it's a waiting game for now. Baby dust to everyone!!!
Im doing great. I had an early anatomy scan and a private ultrasound and we are having a girl. Im calling her Bella for now, and will likely name her Isabella and her baby name will be Bella. She had great measurments at her scan and everything looks perfect. I have another anatomy scan next month with my perinatologist. This pregnancy has been close to perfect. I stopped DCI after the 1st trimester and Im 17wks now. I've gained about 10lbs so far, but only 2 in the last month.
