From the looks of OPK test, I would think you sure did! Looks very promising anyway. Clomid and Met never worked for me and they even tried Provera and Prometrium to get me to have withdrawl bleeding, but didn't work. I think that would be why they told me "I don't know, I can't do anymore for you. Good luck." I'm very curious--What is the benefit of ex vir olive oil? I haven't read or heard anything having to do with that.

The oil is really good for your skin. Cooking with it or adding it to baked goods in place of oil is how I add it. My skin on my face feels more oily, but I think that is good for skin. I have learned in the past that oily skin= younger looking skin. The best kinds come from Italy, France & Spain and should be in a dark bottle. UV rays can damage the oil and taste. They recomend keeping it in a dark place or covering the bottle with foil.
You can replace oils but just using evo oil in place of other oils in the receipe, and you wont taste the difference. You can replace any and all butters and oils with olive oil. For butter or veg fat (like Crisco) you use one-quarter less oil than the receipe. Some would use light olive oil instead because it has no olive taste. The healtiest is the ex. virgin olive oil and light oil doesnt mean less calories, just less flavor.
People have studied what areas of the world the people live the longest and those areas for the most part consume the meditrranean diet (using evo oil) and some areas also had high calcium in their water.
My book does go on to list the types of fat and how olive oil (ex virgin only) is the healthy fat. It says processed oils not only dont taste good (which indicates not good for you) but arent good for you and they include, doy oil, canola, safflower, veg oil, slad oil and light olive oil (except for occasional frying).
I just started adding good oil to my food, 2tsp a day, and I had so much ewcm looking stuff it was crazy. Im not 100% that I ovulated, but several signs point to I did. I didnt get a big temp rise yet though, so Im hesitant.
Me too, FX. I feel as though I did, but cd 11 come on too good to be true. My symptoms are all gone though LOL.

Just in case you did, did you happen to BD at the right time? I hope so, and I sure hope you get lucky with a BFP this cycle!
I just have to tell someone...I had my insulin tested just last week to see how much DCI is actually doing. In Jan when I originally was told my insulin was WAY high it was 43.7 Well, the doc just called and in 5 weeks of taking DCI it is down to 10.5 Woohoo!!! They said normal range is 6-25 but I think I'm going to start taking cinnamon too just to help lower it a bit more (hopefully) And I'm thinking about implementing Maca into my routine as well to help with hormone levels. Haven't decided yet though.

When did you start the DCI? Thats an awesome improvement, your testosterone is normal. Oh and yes, I did cover my bases, but not doing so good right now doing so. I usually BD every other day, but just didnt feel like it the last two days. I told dh, tomorrow LOL. I did have a further temp jump today, so have a little more hope that I already ovulated. I'll believe it when I have a 26 day cycle, or cd 26 BFP.

I've been taking it 6 weeks tomorrow but when they tested it was the 5 week mark. According to doc everything else was normal in Jan. I think drinking Mona Vie (fruit drink full of antioxidants, phyto-nutrients, trace minerals, omegas, etc) for a year helped my body get the rest of them "normalized" because they all used to be outa wack. But now that my insulin is normal I'm just waiting for everthing to regulate. I mean my insulin has been way high for years and years, maybe since puberty. So for it to go normal so quickly, my body is probably in shock. I wish I new how to post a link for my chart. It's way funked out!!! every other day (past almost week) it drops to 96.9 but the next day its almost a full degree higher...weird. Especially because it was really close to a steady temp then wacked out. I don't know what to think other than my body is in shock and trying to recover.

Im taking several vitamins and cooking daily with ex virgin olive oil. I eat all my DCI at once, Im just under 1200mg a day. I used soy to bring on O this time, and IF I ovulated on cd11, I think I found what all my body needs. FX I hope so.

Jobilee, that is great news about your insulin levels getting so low. So the DCI is working! Did you ever try provera to induce AF? I know a couple of people who TTC over 10 years and had healthy babies, mostly twins.
Tamii, wishing you lots of baby dust this cycle. It only takes BDing once within 5 days of O to conceive, all things being normal so you are definitely still in the running.
So last Wednesday (CD 14) went in for ultrasound to check follicle growth and was told they were developing slowly and should come back friday, CD 16. The ultrasound on friday showed one mature follicle 21mm but blood test still showed low LH level so I was prescribed ovidrel to take friday evening at 6pm. We BD friday night and I felt o pain saturday evening so we BD again saturday night. I was told to BD friday, saturday, and sunday but dh and I were too tired on sunday to BD so hopefully I ovulated saturday evening/sunday morning. It says you should ovulate within 12-36 hours after the trigger shot but I didn't get a significant temperature rise until this morning from 97.57 to 97.9.....does this mean I o'ed yesterday (monday, CD19)? I hope that the temp rise was just a slow rise and I o'ed CD17 or CD18. Baby dust to all!
From looking at your chart I would say yesterday was O day. I know you missed BD on Sunday, but theres still a ton of hope if yesterday was O day because 2 days before O (Saturday) is the highest percent day for pregnancy achievement, at 28%. The day before O (sunday) is 26% and the day of O (monday) only 5%. Also you said you BD the Friday, right? Friday and Thurs have an extra 13% each day probability per day.
I sure hope I ovulated. I think I did, now I wait.

That's great Hopeful! I wish you luck! And tons of baby dust! It only takes one good swimmer. I can't even imagine the anticipation that would go along with the waiting!!!
AFM: I know this is bad but I don't do doctors. In order to get Provera I'd need to see a dr (unless I ordered it online like the clomid I have) but I didn't think of that till now. With all the stuff they have had me put down my throat nothing has made any where near the difference that the "self-prescribed" holistic stuff has. Not even close and no s/e. If I ever get the priviledge of getting preggers I will be seeing a dr. But the tests I have had run have been prescribed through chiropractic dr. and a med dr not covered by my ins. For some reason the drs I've seen that are covered by my ins. won't even think about the possibility of going natural. I think they get really good kickbacks from the pill co. Literally the reason I quit ttc years ago is because I had more than one dr shrug his shoulders and tell me there was nothing more he could do for me, he didn't know what was going on with me. One of them was a RE. I didn't even spot with a higher dosage of Provera or Prometrium. Then in Jan I found a dr (non-ins) he listened to my story and wanted to help. From there...somehow I ended up here. But I won't complain...everyday I thank God that he lead me to DCI. I feel so much better now.
The part that shows your actual chart is missing. What you pasted in was just ff's link. If you go to your page and copy the whole thing, it will show some number on the end, unless you've changed the info. If you want, PM me on FF, Im under *tamii* over there.
Im with you on the whole doctor thing. I have such different veiws. I have clomid and Avandia from online, but havent used it. I also have some tamoxifen left over. I wanted to give DCI and soy another chance. If I didnt ovulate I may need provera. I can call the doctor for a script, I think, but not sure that I want to. He may have me come in. I should probably order some online for a back up plan LOL, since Im not 100% sure I ovulated.

Yay! For the first time ever I have crosshairs! I know CD1 isn't really CD1, more like CD450 but yay anyway! I LOVE DCI!
This is gonna sound crazy but I think my body was trying to O but for some reason just needed a nudge. I don't know if this is what really nudged it but I read that pink grapefruit juice can help your body O, so I thought what the heck and drank some...The next day (according to the rythm on my chart) was supposed to be high again but since I drank the juice, my temp has stayed up. I know it's very possible that it's just coincidence but what if that really is what helped.
One question, DH and I were trying to avoid BD around O because it has seriously been over a year since AF. It would be bad if we did get a BFP because of the thickness of my uterus since it has been that long...wouldn't it?

Sometimes the thickness will prevent a BFP, but I think if a BFP happens, then it shouldnt be an issue. It is a cancer risk for you if your lining doesnt empty out every 4 months, so its best to get on provera every 3 months if no O. Your chart looks great, too.
Hey, did you know the reason grapfruit works to help O? It has DCI in it, so I think thats the reason. Thats not the only health benefit either. I dont like the taste though LOL.
Good job adding your chart link to your signature, it works perfectly.
