ovulation and bcp ??

I am perplexed and need help. I feel like I might be ovulating. However, I have been on bcp for 8 mos and never had a problem. We bd'ed Friday. Yesterday (Tuesday) would have been 2 weeks since start of last period. However if you count days from the pill pkg, it would've been like day 17...I think. I have these little sharp twinges of pain in my abdomen, close to my left ovary. I have had brown discharge a couple times when I wiped. My cm has not been truly ewcm. It is kind of creamy. Even if I'd had sex at beginning of last week, it would have been too early to have ovulated and had chances of pg, right? So even at Friday when we did bd, wouldn't it still be too early for feelings of implantation? I am asking this because these little twinges kind of feel like that ligament stretching stuff. I dont know what to think. Can anyone help? Does anyone know if Iron Pills can affect the efectiveness of bcp? That's the only pill I had been on besides bcp, due to low iron. I didnt think that would affect the bcp. Could it be that now my iron is built back up, that could be causing the differences? I'm searching for help...thanks!
