Default Ovulation/implantation spotting or freakishly early af??

Hey ladies
I'm cd15 after a progesterone (100 mg 10 days) induced af. I had very light spotting starting Monday. I was kind of hoping/wishing it would be implantation spotting. But today it's actually getting heavier to the point where I can't figure out if this is still spotting or a new cycle. I'm only using liners-so not much volume- but it's bright red? I've never had an early af in my life, but this was more progesterone for longer than I've taken before maybe my hormones got kick started?

Anyway any advice on figuring if this spotting or new af? I'm weeks away from being able to test...

It would be very early to be implantation - that usually occurs ~7 days after O, so that means you would have O'd on CD8 (or earlier if spotting started on cd 13). Are you temping? That should be able to tell you if you O'd or not. My guess is that your hormones are out of whack and you are having midcycle spotting/breakthru bleeding. It could be O spotting, but I think that is more like red/pink tinged CM than actually heavy enough for a liner. I personally had my first (in the past 6 cycles) unmedicated cycle this month and I spotted after AF from cd 9-14 then finally O'd on cd 19 with no spotting - I think my hormones were a little off (but I actually O'd on my own!!). It seems that you may not be temping yet in this cycle. If I were in your situation and I had temped on some previous cycles I would start sampling my temps to see if they were more like pre or post O (may not work for everyone, but I can usually tell). Or I would get in touch with my RE/OB - they can do an u/s and/or test your hormones to tell you. If neither of these sound like good options to you, you can just wait it out and test in a while. Personally, I'm not that patient!

Thanks. I think it is extremely wishful thinking on my part that it was iplantation. I'm not temping yet because I know I'll get obsessive. I haven't even started met yet-my dr said she'll prescribe it when I see her next week providing my kidney bw and u/s are ok. Now I'm just trying to figure out if I should chart this as the start of a new cycle or not?
