Default Ovulation Pain

Hi, I'm new to this board and not sure if anyone has posted anything recently in relation to this. However, just a quick question. I had a baby 8 months ago and have just got my periods back. for the last two periods, I've been getting really odd pains during ovulation. I was diagnosed iwth PCOS a while a go and I think it's related. When I ovulate I can't sit down normally as i feel like all my innards are being pushed upwards. I have to do it really carefully. I also have a dull ache at the same time as though I have a bladder infection - but I know I don't have one. I've never had this before and I am certain it ties in with the ovulation. Two questions if anyone knows - and I'd really appreciate any feedback - a) does having a baby make pcos worse and b) are these likely to be pcos symptoms?
Million thanks, x

Pain during 'O' is common. I also have it. It's called mittleshmertz(sp?) which means 'middle pain'. It most commonly happens on the right side but can hurt on either side. It's sorta like a quick sharp pain in my ovary that happens a couple of days before I 'O'. Sometimes I hurt in my groin around the time AF is due. I also have some lower back pain and feel that it's a little painful to sit down. But after AF arrives the feeling goes away.

You may want to check with your gyn. to make sure you don't have an infection.
Pcos is a pain in the butt! Sometimes it's even hard to tell whats normal! I don't know if pcos gets worse after preg. I miscarried in April. So far everything seems normal.

A friend of mine complains that whenever she o's, she feels like her cervix is going to fall out. She'd mentioned it to her doc, and she said it was just ovulation. But it's just cd14 that it happens. All day, she finds it tender to sit down.

You may want to read up on endometrosis, as that can cause the pain when you sit. I do have sharp twinges on the right or left when I ovulate... it's pretty common.

I would look up endometrosis, as well.

** This site can really inform you deeply regarding pcos. It's the only reason I have such knowledge concerning this pcos crap. This site is a godsend.
