Default Ovulation on provera?

Today is day 3 of provera for this month. This morning I noticed major EWCM,so, I took a OPK got a +. I spoke with my doc's nurse. She told me to BD today but to continue this cycle of Provera and just not start Clomid this month. Anyone ever heard of this? I KNOW provera itself dosen't cause ovulation. Did something in my body just finally start functioning normal? Any comments would be welcome!

I've just recently finished my first lot of Provera. I track my body temperature & notice my temp started going up from the 1st day I took Provera. The software I use thought I'd ovulated...but it had a disclaimer saying the rise in temp was probably due to taking the Provera, as it's derived from progesterone.

So maybe it's just a side effect of taking the provera?
