Ovulation Question

HI EVERYONE!

Ok, just a fast background. i have been taking my herbs and such for three months - started January 1. I have had 28 day cycles since. In January, one day while sitting at my desk I started getting pains in my lower right abdomen. Me (freaking out) thinks maybe appendix? Anyway, it evenually goes away.

February comes around, Valentines day, SAME PAIN. I realize that it is day 14 of my cycle. HUMMM...

Today, day 14 of my cycle, and SAME PAIN! So i ask my friend who is a doula if she has any clue, and she says she thinks it is Mittelschmerz. Basically webmd says this is ovulation pain. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yup I just had mine last week. I get it every month too and have also looked up Mittelschmerz before on the net

lucky you.. at this point I am beginning to question if I have eggs at all!

Thanks guys! It is comforting to know I'm not the only one!! I am sucking at temping, but this helps me to have some indication that what I am doing is right.

I used to get that pain all the time. I haven't had it in a couple of months though, even though I'm still getting my periods....

sgordon: Hm maybe you have some sleective ovulating going on there

...or maybe you just aren't noticing it when it happens?

Congratulations on getting "Mittelschmerz" (I just call it O pain) on day 14 of your cycle. I get it all the time, but my cycles are longer. Sometimes, I figure it's my ovaries trying to release an egg but can't. I can sometimes have it 4 or 5 times in a cycle before the real thing comes, and I do actually ovulate.
