I just need some advice for comparison's sake.

Last month was my first round on clomid 100 mg, cycle days 3 - 7. I had no EWCM, intense ovulation cramps before I actually ovulated, positive OPK's (Rite Aid brand) on CD 20, the temp rise on CD 22, and sore boobs for about 7 days immediately after I ovulated. My 5dpo P4 confirmed that I did in fact ovulate.

However this is my second round, cycle days 3- 7. I have had one day of perfect EWCM on CD 12, no ovulation cramps, positive OPk's (Answer Brand) on CD's 13 -16 , the temp rise on CD 16 (today), but no sore boobs. I am waiting for 7dpo to get my P4 tested,

Did you ever ovulate on more than one round of Clomid but go symptomless as far as sore boobs and no ovulation cramps for one of the rounds? Why would my body react differently and ovulate earlier for the same dosage of Clomid on the second round?

I don't remember what symptoms I displayed (it was over a year ago). The first round I was on 50mg & did not ovulate. The second, third & fourth round was 100mg & I ovulated (but did not have mature follicles - or something like that). The 5th round was 150mg & I did NOT ovulate. I didn't understand that either.

When you have PCOS no 2 months are the same so don't worry, it all sounds very good this month to me. I was taking clomid with injections, I did 4 rounds at the same dose and they all had different results. I am on CD6 today with 150mg Clomid on days 3-9! I hope I get +ve OPK's as early as you did.

Hi Mugrat and MeMe2008,

Thank you for responding. Funny, but my temperature didn't stay elevated today, CD 17 so I guess it means I haven't ovulated yet. This PCOS thingy is so frustrating.

Every morning, praying that my temp goes up as I watch the numbers on the thermometer go up and then stop..My last positive OPK was on Monday..so wouldn't that mean that the latest that I would ovulate would be today?

Mugrat, how many months of clomid did it take before you got pregnant with your daughter?

I didn't respond at all to Clomid but I do know that no two cycles are exactly the same even with the same meds. Just when I thought I knew what my body would do - it changed. The wonderful world of PCOS.
