I want to find out when or if I'm ovulating. It says on the side of the box that "pcos may affect the reliability of the test" Why is this and if I may not be getting an accurate response is there any point testing at all?

Some (a lot really...) women with PCOS have elevated LH levels, so that's why they don't work for everyone. There are some of us for whom they do work, though, so you should give them a try and see.
They are different for everyone. You will never know until you try them. If you constantly get a + or close to+ reading that means it probably isnt going to work for you. However it you get a - before getting a + and then get a - again a few days later they work!
You can also chart to see if you are ovulating. It won't tell you when you are going to ovulate, but it will indicate that you have with a temperature rise... www.fertilityfriend.com
Its all so aggrivating...I know. I feel the same way. I just want a test that will give me a definite - or +.

MyRuby reading: Im seeing a conceive or find out with a positive test between june and aug of 2009. I see a boy. I see a conceive or find out with a positive test or give birth in dec. so either conceive or find out with a positive in dec of 2011 or give birth in december of 2012. I see a girl.
