I was recenly put back on Metformin at the end of January, I stopped taking BC pills at the beginning of December as we are ttc. However, I have had a period for 1 day in January and that is it. How long is too long to go without a period? No, I am not preg...I wish...but I also know it'll happen someday. Can I still be ovulating with no periods?

I stopped taking BCP in June last year. Had AF three times since, the last time was September 2005. I was put on Metformine 3 weeks ago, and my endo said I should not go back on the pill to see if my periods would start up by themselves, an important indicator that the therapy works. He told me to not expect miracles and have a lot of patience. I am due back in 4 months to see what happened. So maybe you "just" need to be patient?
