Our almost 9-month-old foster son is having a double hernia operation this Friday. Even though I know that it's a tiny operation in the scheme of things, I'm still a wreck about it. The added fact that the birth parents will be there and the risk of a confrontation is very high (birthmom doesn't want us there at all, psychologists say it's very important that we're there when he wakes up), and I HATE confrontations.
Please say a prayer/give us some positive vibes for Friday and that our foster son (and his foster parents) make it through this experience okay?

He made it through just fine!! In fact, we almost didn't have to stay overnight. He's already on the mend and has more energy than his foster parents!
