Hi everyone. i am 24yrs old and was diagnosed with Pcos about two years ago.. I went through 6 different doctors before i had gotten the right diagnoses. My one gynos sent me to Pittsburgh to Mcgees womens hospital, they did not tests, just and exam, and sent me on the way, with this "you are to FAT to have kids" thier words exactly. I will not disclose the dr's name that had said that, due to the fact, i dont believe in bashing a doctor, they put me on metamorphin and i dropped 30lbs, along with my sugar dropping to the 40's on a daily basis, my family doctor pulled me off of that pill. and i gained back the 30lbs. About a year ago, i started to drop some more wieght. im down 28lbs, and still nothing, i havent gotten a period in about ayear or so, My new gyno (the one who diagnosed me with pcos,) gave me medroxprogestrone, to jump start my periods every three months, the last time i had taken the pills nothing happened. Now i am looking for a doctor , (no at mcgees.. please) that can help me, my husband is really wanting a child. (oh course i do to!!) and no luck, we have tried for 5 years, out of the six we have been together. and nothing... please can anyone help me find a doctor, I have medicaid, and medicare (i am on disability for depression.) and i can only afford payments, no upfront fees. please can anyone help???

Hello! Ok my doctor is Dr. Reddy, she has a GREAT staff, who is very knowledgable and understanding. They were willing to try anything I suggested or wanted and explained everything to me! Which I needed.
There is also a great doctor near Harrisburg, that get's rave reviews from my girlfriends.
