LOL I didn't know it wasn't recognised as a religion! Try telling that to the Pagan Fed...

As for handfasting that's a modern invention, not a tradition - although I suppose if the state recognise foreign religions' wedding ceremonies as valid, such as xianity's, they should make it on a parr. Can't say I mind either way really, as I think marriage is an outdated institution.
