Hi Ladies,
I had posted this thread in infertility section and did get some good suggestions but did not find many people with APS or PAI 1, I thought this place can help me find more support and help. I have been diagnosed with PCOS for 3 years, TTC for 2 years and miscarried 3 times (all less than 6 weeks), 2 times Naturally conceived and once with IVF in Oct 2008. My RE did all the blood work for APS antibodies(21 point) before the IVF everything came back normal. even the genetic testing and HSG were normal except I had high PAI 1 (due to PCOS ofcouse) and Protein C came back low, antiphosphatidylserine came back high and decided to treat me with Lovenox/Heparin as soon as I get my BFP, but last time I miscarried the day after my BFP, we are moving on to our second IVF in Jan 2009 and he says this time he will let me start my Lovenox injections from CD1 of stimulation..I also took metformin(1500mg), dexamethasone and BA and baby aspirin did nothing for me . Has anybody suffered the same, if so when did you ladies start Lovenox and did it work??. please help me I do not have IF coverage and paid for 3 IUI's with injects and IVF out of pocket ..will definitely like to get your feedback before my next IVF cycle...thank you cysters in advance ....

I have not gone the route of IVF but I do have APS + MTHFR + PCOS. I have suffered 3 losses, 2 of which were in the last year of ttc in July '08 and October '08. I am going in for surgery to correct a septate uterus then I will be treated so I can ttc again. My RE told me he was going to start the heparin and baby aspirin while I'm trying so I can be treated for the clotting issues before I get pregnant so there hopefully will be no issues upon implantation. Sorry I couldn't be of more help and I'm sorry for your losses

I am currently suffering through my third early loss. I already knew that I had MTHFR and PA-1, but I was only on BA. My RE said that if all the chromosome testing comes back normal, we will try again with blood thinner.

Any updates on you guys?
